It all began in August 2017, when we met for our very first date at The Angry Ginger Pub. From that night on, we’ve been nearly inseparable.

At the time, Duncan was serving in the Marine Corps, and shortly after we met, he left for a month of training. On November 20th, 2017, he surprised me by coming home early—marking the day that became our official anniversary.

Not long after, we took our very first trip together to New York City, where we watched the 2017 Thanksgiving Day Parade. The city’s magic made it an unforgettable trip, and ever since then, New York has held a special place in our hearts. A year later, we returned to ring in the New Year in NYC, and it was just as magical as the first time.

Over the years, we’ve shared so many adventures—driving the entire stretch of Highway 95 from the top of Maine all the way down to Key West, exploring New Orleans, and watching the sunrise among the cherry blossoms in Washington, D.C. Each trip has been filled with laughter, love, and memories that we’ll cherish forever.

Today, our little family has grown to include four fur babies—two cats and two wiener dogs who fill our home with joy and chaos in the best way possible.

So much has changed since that first date, but through it all, we’ve grown together, supported each other, and built a love that continues to deepen with every adventure. We can’t wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
